Mountain View Parent/Tot Drop-In

What is this program about?  The Mountain View Parent and Tot Drop-In program provides an opportunity for parents and their pre-school children to meet in a relaxed, safe and nurturing environment. In addition to play, crafts and healthy snacks, the program offers a clothing exchange and access to resource information.

Who is this program for? This program is for parents with pre-school children.

When is it?  

This program is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at Mountain View Family Resource Centre, 699 Robinson St. Coquitlam. Get a Map

Public Transportation:
151 Lougheed Station - Take the Cottonwood/Robinson Street Stop
143 SFU/Coquitlam Station - Take the Como Lake Road/Robinson Street Stop
156 Braid Station/Lougheed Station - Take the Como Lake Road/Robinson Street Stop 

This program is also available on Wednesday from 9:30 am - 2:00 pm at Clarke Street Family Resource Centre, 2615 Clarke Street Port Moody.  Get a Map

Parent–Child Mother Goose Program

  • The program is for parents with children from birth to 3 years
  • Parents and children learn songs, rhymes and stories together
  • Nutritious snacks are provided
  • Each program runs for 8 weeks, and families meet 1 1/2 hours each week 
  • The program is offered several times a year, at SHARE Family Resource Centres and other locations throughout the Tri-Cities, in partnership with other organizations

Nobody's Perfect

The program is for parents of children (birth to 5 years) who want to enhance their parenting skills and build their confidence
  • The program is available to families with limited incomes
  • Each program runs for 6 weeks, and parents meet for 2 hours each week
  • Child minding and nutritious snacks are provided
  • Transportation is available to and from the program location
  • Offered several times a year, at SHARE Family Resource Centres and other locations throughout the Tri-Cities, in partnership with Fraser Health, and other Tri-Cities agencies

Korean Mothers Together

  • This program is designed for Korean-speaking mothers and their children (from birth through 5 years of age) to learn more about parenting, build friendships & support one another.
  • This program is organized by the participating Korean mothers, and the sessions are parent-led
  • Meets every Wednesday (12:00-2:00 pm) at SHARE’s Mountain View Family Resource Centre, 699 Robinson Street (south of Smith Ave.), Coquitlam Get a Map
