New Beginnings : The Tri-Cities Refugee Pilot Project

  • This program is for Government–Assisted Refugee (GAR) families who are living in the Tri-Cities with children from birth to 6 years of age.
  • The program provides a safe and supportive environment in which parents can learn and play with their children
  • The program provides opportunities for families to meet other families in the community
  • It also provides information about health, education, housing, food, parenting and other community resources
  • Offered at SHARE Mountain View Family Resource Centre, 699 Robinson St. , Coquitlam.  (The Family Resource Centre is located in a two-storey building behind Mountain View Elementary School at 740 Smith Ave.) Get a Map

Korean Mothers Together

  • This program is designed for Korean-speaking mothers and their children (from birth through 5 years of age) to learn more about parenting, build friendships & support one another.
  • This program is organized by the participating Korean mothers, and the sessions are parent-led
  • Meets every Wednesday (12:00-2:00 pm) at SHARE’s Mountain View Family Resource Centre, 699 Robinson Street (south of Smith Ave.), Coquitlam Get a Map
