This program provides fun and friendly places for adults to practice English, meet new friends, share their culture with others, and learn about the community.
- English Practice Groups meet at various times and locations throughout the Tri-Cities, and the groups are facilitated by volunteers.
- This is a “drop-in” program. New participants are welcome at any time, and there is no need to pre-register. You can download a copy of the current English Practice Groups by clicking here and interested adults can choose the group which is most convenient to them.
- English Practice Groups are offered by SHARE Family & Community Services in partnership with School District 43, Coquitlam Public Library, Port Moody Public Library, Fraser Valley Regional Library (Terry Fox Branch), Tri-Cities Women’s Resource Society, Port Coquitlam Parks and Recreation, and Immigrant Services Society of BC, with support from the City of Coquitlam’s Pinetree Community Centre and Glen Pine Pavilion.
