We are looking for Administrative Supervisor (Excluded, full time position) to provide key support for our administrative staff, the CEO, the Board of Directors and our agency. Qualifications Required:

* Diploma and/or post-secondary education in Office Administration
* Minimum 5 years in a senior administrative role
* Proven supervisory skills
* Experience in human resource management
* Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Experience with supporting a volunteer Board of Directors
* Facility management experience
* Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality
* Experience in the not-for-profit sector
* Familiarity and knowledge of the Tri-Cities community an asset
* Local travel is expected, car and clean driving record required

This is an HSA Bargaining Unit Position and requires Union membership. This position is open to male and female applicants.

Commencement/End Date:

This position is split between the New Westminster Children’s Centre (0.62 FTE) as part of the integrated children’s centre in partnership with Simon Fraser Society for Community Living and the Tri-Cities Children’s Services (0.3FTE – 10.5 hours/week)

Qualifications Required:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with paediatric community based clinical experience preferred. Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists required.

Hours of Work: 32.2 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Summary of Duties: 

  •  Plan, develop, implement and evaluate therapy to address fine motor, sensory, adaptive, postural, and self-care skills for children with disabilities. Services in consultation with the family.
  • Provide direct therapy services to individual and groups of children and their families to implement occupational therapy programs based on established goals.
  •  Liaise with other community service providers and professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent therapies and services.
  • Maintains related records and write reports as required.
