SHARE Family & Community Services Society has the following employment opportunity:

On Call/Casual School Age Workers – After School Program
3 positions available.
This is an HSA Bargaining Unit Position and requires Union membership.
This position is open to male and female applicants.

Commencement date: ASAP

Qualifications Required:
Education: The School Age Worker has Grade 12, plus post-secondary training in a field related to Child and Youth Care, Recreation, School Age Child Care or other related field.  First Aid certificate and clear criminal record check required.

Experience: 6 months experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience working with groups of school age children and their families and planning and implementing program activities.

Classification/Salary:
School Age Worker
$15.23-17.91 per hour, Grid Level 9

Position:
Casual/On Call - Up to 14 hours per week. Hours may vary.

Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday 2:00 - 5:00 pm

Summary of Duties:
The School Age Worker delivers programming to school age children, including children with special needs.  Develops and implements developmentally appropriate activities and experiences for children in programs.

Location:
The After School Program is offered at Mountain View Elementary and Roy Stibbs Elementary School in Coquitlam. Program staff are based at SHARE Clarke St. location.
